Realizing the Panic Bugatti Dream
Forza Horizon 5 unexpectedly gave me something extremely special.

Believe it or not, just ~8 short years ago, Chris Harris was “just” an independent automotive YouTuber and I existed in a state of near-100% ignorance about the existence of the EB110, Bugatti’s hypercar of the moment aroundabouts the time of my conception.
I’m positive I watched every production of Chris Harris on Cars twice through, but this one… is all I remember. The example, itself, was just about to be sold at auction (I purposefully refrained from investigating its actual fate) and — amid watching the spectacle for the first time — I mourned the nigh-certain fact that whomsoever would end up assuming its care was not capable of bestowing upon it the proper noun it’d deserved since the moment its specsheet was done: PANIC.
It fits on a standard license place!
At some point between August and December 2015, we riffed out the idea of this particular device performing the function of a Panic Room. This is not that moment, unfortunately, but it is a drunken (and probably concise) explanation of it.
Anywhomst, Forza Horizon 5’s custom license plates really do serve a function, it turns out.

Bless you, Forza.
